A creative release

Your November project theme

What I think we all probably need right now is a creative release. An opportunity to disconnect from this crazy world and pour energy into our creative process. What’s your process for creativity?

Mine? I put on a good show or movie and let it play in the background while I sit and experiment. Sometimes I just stare at my supplies for hours, not really making anything. Sometimes I lay out a bunch of ideas and just look at them on the table. And sometimes, somehow, I pull them together into fully formed projects.

This week I invite you to respond to this very email and tell me about your creative process. I’ll share a few back in next week’s newsletter.

Without further ado… you voted and our November project theme will be…. ✨Cozy [up]cycles!✨ By an overwhelming margin you wanted to participate in upcycles for the chilly season.

One quick change, we’ve noticed you tend to prefer sharing your projects to our activity feed so we’ve decided to adjust our process for sharing. No need to share in groups (though you can!). Just pop on over to our feed at the button below and post your creations this month.

Happy upcycling!

Digging in: Cozy [up]cycles

Creating a cozy home doesn’t require new things—instead we can add warmth and character with items that tell a story. Repurposed goods offer a unique way to bring charm and comfort into your space. With a little creativity, you can make each room feel inviting and full of personality, all while reducing waste. Get started on our November project with these two videos below which explore ways to repurpose goods to craft a home that feels truly cozy and one-of-a-kind.

Can You Repurpose Your Way to a Cozy Home?

In this video, Shelly of Repurposed My Way talks about how to repurpose her way to a cozy home using goods found at the local dump, and a bit of warm colors which make her feel cozy and relaxed. How would you repurpose your way to a cozy home?

Bow Embellishment | Instructed by Other Lives

Learn how to DIY your own pieces through bow embellishment design techniques. We’ll teach you how to create and hand sew bow embellishments and embellishment layout basics, and help brainstorm new ideas with you. Our goal is to encourage a playful approach to upcycling and help re-use scraps and deadstock trims to create something new, giving you the skills to hand embellish anything you set your mind to.

Join this Saturday at 1pm PT

America’s first USDA organic THC gummies

Cornbread Hemp has introduced America’s first USDA organic THC gummies with 10mg of THC, derived from hemp and legal in nearly all 50 states. For a healthier way to experience a carefree moment without the hangover, Cornbread’s organic edibles provide a balanced experience that won’t make you feel paranoid or anxious.

Even with 10mg of THC per gummy, they are legal to ship across America. How? The Farm Bill of 2018 legalized all hemp products with less than 0.3% THC, and all Cornbread Hemp products meet that standard.

Cornbread’s USDA organic THC Gummies are safe, stackable, and shareable for friends and family over 21.

New customers can use code BREEZE25 for 25% off.

Enjoy the moment and take your edge off, this is the good life.

Upcycling for Fun: Miniature Doll Beds

Gabriela guides us through a whimsical upcycle project—crafting a doll bed from fabric scraps and a lozenge tin. ❤️ This tiny project is both a return to play and a reminder that creativity doesn’t always need a purpose other than joy.

From selecting a doll ‘tenant’ to stitching miniature bedding, her story taps into the magic of slowing down and creating just for fun. 🎨✨

New on Peo Vee: Groups

Now you can gather with upcyclers in your niche. Start and join groups, and have discussions about your particular passions.

Here are just a few groups you can join right now

This week, Malissa shared her creativity with our soda/pop can artists group. Such beautiful execution and reuse of these normally discarded metals!

Community contributions

One more contribution to last month’s prompt came in from Terri B. We loved this playful contribution. Thanks, Terri!

My neighbors broken umbrella turned into spider legs topped with a large metal planting bin.
