Greetings upcyclers! This week, we have a special newsletter with some exciting announcements about the future of Peo Vee. You may remember a couple of weeks back I mentioned I took a hiatus to consider what comes next for this special little community. Well, I’m excited to share that this week, we’re rolling out a new paid membership option designed to help you engage more deeply with your craft, upskill, and meet other upcyclers. More about that below.

Ok onto the memberships. But first, a little background…

We haven’t likely formally met, but you’ve probably seen me around. I’m Molly and I’m the creator of Peo Vee. I started Peo Vee as a simple blog. A little corner of the internet where I could explore my passions for creativity and reuse, and perhaps meet some others who care about the same things I do. Building this community and seeing what others create has been a tremendous joy, and I truly hope you’ll join me in this next chapter. Thanks for being here.

This is me and my dog Willa. Other than running an upcycling business, being a dog mom is perhaps the thing that brings me the most joy in the world. It took a lot of photos to try to get one where she’s not licking my face.🤷🏻‍♀️

The Peo Vee Membership

As I mentioned, this week we’re rolling out a paid membership option which will grant access to monthly upcycling workshops, a monthly community meetup (all virtual) and an ad-free browsing experience at peovee.com. The cost of your monthly membership can be reduced by 30% if you pay annually. Plus as a bonus, you get the warm-fuzzies of helping a small mission-oriented business grow.

But wait, can I still participate for free?

Yes! All of the same things you’ve already been exploring are right there available to you. Join groups, browse our projects, share to our feed, and meet us right here each week for news, project ideas, and more. We’ve just added a bit more for those who want a richer experience.

Bow Embellishment | Instructed by Other Lives

Learn how to DIY your own pieces through bow embellishment design techniques. We’ll teach you how to create and hand sew bow embellishments and embellishment layout basics, and help brainstorm new ideas with you. Our goal is to encourage a playful approach to upcycling and help re-use scraps and deadstock trims to create something new, giving you the skills to hand embellish anything you set your mind to. 

Our monthly (virtual) community meetup begins November 24th, 11am PT

Monthly Community Meetup

Peo Vee Members are invited to join us for our monthly community meetup and project show-and-tell. Each month, we announce an upcycle project theme. Our monthly meetup is a virtual space to come together at the end of the month, share what you created in response to the theme, and exchange tips, tricks and resources. This is a casual, camera-on event.
